Rollover Accidents in Andover, Massachusetts

Rollover accidents like the one on Chandler Rd are among the most dangerous types of vehicle crashes. When a car flips or rolls, the risk of serious injuries increases due to roof

collapse, ejection, and unpredictable movement inside the vehicle. Even at lower speeds, a rollover can cause long-lasting harm to drivers and passengers.

In Massachusetts, rollovers happen more often on curved roads, rural highways, or in areas with limited visibility. Speed, distracted driving, or poor weather are common factors. Some vehicles, especially taller ones like SUVs or vans, are more likely to roll over because of a higher center of gravity. Road conditions and mechanical failure can also contribute.

Injuries from rollover crashes are often severe. Victims may suffer head trauma, spinal injuries, broken bones, or internal bleeding. These injuries usually require emergency care, followed by a long recovery process. In some cases, the psychological effects of the crash—such as anxiety or post-traumatic stress—can linger even after the body heals.

When someone is hurt in a rollover accident, it’s important to explore their legal options. If another driver’s negligence or a road hazard caused the crash, victims may be eligible for financial compensation. This can help cover medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and future medical needs.

Insurance companies may try to settle claims quickly and for less than what the victim truly deserves. That’s why it’s so important to speak with an experienced personal injury attorney. A lawyer can collect evidence, speak with witnesses, and build a strong case to support your claim.
