Motorcycle Accidents in Massachusetts

Motorcycle crashes in Massachusetts often result in serious injuries, especially on busy highways like I-95. Motorcyclists face greater risks than drivers of passenger vehicles because they have less protection during a collision. Even with safety gear, crashes frequently lead to broken bones, head injuries, and life-threatening trauma.

Many motorcycle crashes happen because of driver negligence. Some of the most common causes include distracted driving, unsafe lane changes, and speeding. Drivers who fail to

notice motorcyclists during lane merges or turns can cause devastating accidents. In other cases, poor road conditions, like potholes or debris, increase the risk of a crash.

Motorcycle injuries can have life-changing effects. Victims often need long hospital stays, surgeries, and months of rehabilitation. Common injuries include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord damage, and multiple fractures. The physical recovery can be painful and slow, while medical bills and lost wages cause additional stress.

In Massachusetts, motorcyclists injured in crashes have the right to seek compensation from the responsible driver. A personal injury claim can help cover medical costs, lost income, and other damages such as pain and suffering. Working with a motorcycle accident attorney ensures that your rights are protected and insurance companies do not take advantage of you.

Motorcycle crash victims should always contact a personal injury attorney as soon as possible after an accident. An experienced attorney can investigate the scene, collect witness statements, and review police reports. Legal professionals also handle discussions with insurance companies, allowing victims to focus on healing.
