Warren, MA (August 20, 2025) – Authorities have released new information following the deadly motorcycle crash that took place Monday afternoon, August 18, on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Warren.

The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Kevin Allard of Worcester. According to Massachusetts State Police, Allard was riding his motorcycle westbound on I-90 near mile marker 70.6 when it collided with a tractor-trailer around 3:00 p.m. Emergency crews from Warren Fire and EMS responded, along with state agencies, including Crime Scene Services.

Despite lifesaving efforts, Allard tragically died at the scene due to his injuries. The westbound side of the highway remained closed for several hours as troopers conducted their investigation. The cause of the crash is still under review by law enforcement.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Allard during this difficult time.

How a Wrongful Death Claim Can Help Families After a Fatal Crash

Losing a loved one in a motorcycle or vehicle accident is devastating, and families are often left not only with grief but also with unexpected financial burdens. Funeral costs, lost

income, and medical expenses can quickly overwhelm surviving family members. In situations like these, a wrongful death claim may provide a pathway toward accountability and financial stability.

A wrongful death claim allows families to pursue compensation from the responsible party when negligence is involved. This may include damages for medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future earnings, and the emotional pain of losing a loved one. In Massachusetts, only certain family members—such as a spouse, children, or parents—can file these claims, making it crucial to understand the laws that apply.

An experienced Massachusetts car accident lawyer who understands wrongful death cases can guide families through this process. A lawyer will investigate the crash, work with accident reconstruction experts, gather evidence, and handle negotiations with insurance companies. Their goal is to ease the legal burden on the family so they can focus on healing while ensuring that justice is pursued.

At the Law Office of Michael J. Carroll, we are dedicated to supporting families who have lost loved ones in tragic accidents. Attorney Carroll has the knowledge and compassion to help families navigate the wrongful death claims process and seek the justice they deserve.
