Westfield, MA (June 12, 2025) – A late-night fire in Westfield claimed the life of one woman on June 12. Firefighters responded to an apartment blaze at 36 Franklin Street shortly after 10:30 p.m., following reports of heavy smoke and flames erupting from a first-floor unit.
